1963 Chevrolet Impala SS / All Original 327ci 300hp 4bbl & 4speed What a beautiful example of one of Americas all time favorites, the iconic Chevy Impala SS. This true SS has been beautifully restored by one man... One very talented man over a 2-1/2 year stretch, took the word "perfectionist" to another level, all by himself. What an incredible job he did! This Impala SS retains most of its originality starting with its original engine and transmission. The power plant is the original and completely rebuilt 327ci 300hp engine which retains its Carter 4bbl AFB carburetor which has also been rebuilt. The transmission is the original factory 4-speed. We believe the rear end is also original but we can not be sure. The paint was originally Palomar Red (code 948). The new paint is slightly brighter than original known as Viper Red. The repaint is nearly flawless in 2 stage base-coat clear-coat. Every piece of chrome and trim are just as nice. The engine bay and undercarriage are as they say, "pretty as a picture". We will let the 75+ HD pictures tell the story. We are sure you'll agree! The factory black SS interior is beautiful and all new! Seats are re-bolstered to perfection. All seating material and door panels and carpet are NOS new. The dash pad is the crack free original as is most of the dash itself. The center console is original and in excellent condition but if you get close enough you can see a few scratches to the flat chrome. All other chrome and trim are like new. The original crack free steering wheel has been refinished as well. The headliner is original and in very good condition but a 1" very slight burn mark is visible and shown in the photos. There are No holes... Options include the basic SS package niceties such as the built in tachometer above the steering wheel, dual exhaust, SS badging, AM radio and more. Every thing works as it should. It does have power brakes but no power steering. Tires are are new Coker 15inch redline radials fitted with newer Corvette Rallyes. Neither the tires or wheels came cheap! Lastly, take a look at the trunk. This is a good indication of of the TLC that went into this restoration. It too is flawless and comes complete with its original full jack and new spare tire. Any thought of there being any rust anywhere on this car is just wrong!
