Description

1957 Chevrolet 210 Sport Hardtop Coupe 2-door / MINT Condition!! A VERY Special 57 Chevy! Not quite a Bel Air but not far from it. The 210 was typically built as a 2-door post car (steel pillars between front and rear windows) or as a 4-door. This rare model has the No Post option called the 2-door Sport Hardtop Coupe which was designed more for the Bel Air. Here are some facts you should know regarding the this 210 Sport Hardtop Coupe vs the Bel Air Sport Hardtop Coupe..... In 1957::: Over 650,000 210's were produced! Only 22,631 were 2-Door Sport Coupes (No Post) 166,425 Bel-Air Sport Hardtop Coupes were produced vs 22,631 210 Sport Hardtop Coupes... Far less that the Bel Air The price of a Bel Air 2-door Sport Hardtop Coupe was $2299. The 210 was $2204, just $95 less than the Bel Air. The body and paint on this 210 is flawless. It was refinished in its factory original color of Inca Silver over the India Ivory top and side moldings. The paint was refinished over a decade ago. The fit & finish is still perfect today! The chrome and trim shines brilliantly from the bumpers to every trim piece including the door handles and drip rails... This 210 is absolutely gorgeous from top to bottom! The undercarriage is spotless with no signs of rust ever! The engine is a Great running 235ci I-6 cylinder called the "Blue Flame" that puts out 140hp from its original single barrel carburetor. This original engine is mated to its original 3spd manual transmission. The car moves along very well in todays traffic. It starts instantly and stops as it should. The interior is all original and in impeccable condition. Although these were not highly optioned cars, everything that it does have works properly. The radio is an upgraded AM-FM version of the original. Other notations include piles of receipts and documents of all other maintenance performed on the car over the past decade as well. We believe the mileage was reset during restoration 1537 miles ago but we also believe that this is a very low mileage car to begin with. We were told the original mileage was estimated at 27000 before reset but we can not be certain of that. It would be worth a look for any Chevy collector. You will not be disappointed with this car.
